Rhinoplasty

Procedure

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that reshapes the nose to achieve more harmonious proportions and correct its size. Surgery of the nose can produce changes in the appearance, structure, and function of the nose — reducing or increasing its size, refining the tip, narrowing the nostrils, or adjusting the angle between the nose and the upper lip — and can be combined with correction of the nasal septum (septoplasty). At Royal Plastic Clinic Dr. Komitski performs rhinoplasty using the ultrasonic method — an innovative approach that allows precise reshaping of the bony structures without damaging the surrounding soft tissue and mucosa, using a specialised instrument called a piezotome. This achieves more precise results and prevents the bruising and heavy swelling typically seen around the eyes. Recovery after surgery is easier and faster. In most cases Dr. Komitski performs open rhinoplasty with a tissue-preserving technique for atraumatic reshaping of the nasal bridge and a time-stable correction of the tip, giving natural, aesthetically balanced results.

Price

How much does the procedure cost

The price depends on

  • The surgical technique suited to your anatomy
  • The extent and complexity of the intervention
  • The type of anaesthesia and the length of surgery
  • The required hospital stay and follow-up check-ups

The final price is set in person during the consultation, after an examination and measurements — you then receive a written quote and a detailed plan. The clinic does not work with National Health Insurance Fund referrals.

Trust the professionalism and high aesthetic standards combined with modern trends in rhinoplasty.

The result is visible immediately after the splint is removed on day 10.

In most cases rhinoplasty changes your appearance to some degree. As a stand-alone procedure, however, it does not significantly alter the overall proportions of your face.

Rhinoplasty can only be performed surgically, and is recommended once non-surgical methods for reshaping the nose have been exhausted. It is a highly individual procedure — you should choose it for yourself, not to fulfil someone else's expectations. It is a good option for you if you are in good physical health and have a positive outlook together with realistic goals for improving your appearance.

Rhinoplasty can be performed once the nasal pyramid has fully formed anatomically, which is typically around 16–17 years of age.
