Breast Lift

A breast lift is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and subcutaneous tissue from the breasts, producing a more harmonious shape and repositioning them higher. In most cases the areola diameter is reduced and repositioned higher. The incisions run in a circular pattern around the areola, vertically down the lower half of the breast, and/or along the fold beneath the breast.

This surgery can be combined with another type of aesthetic surgery.

As a stand-alone procedure, a breast lift cannot in many cases compensate for insufficient glandular volume — if that is the case, it should be combined with a breast augmentation.

A breast lift can only be performed surgically. It is a highly individual procedure — you should choose it for yourself, not to fulfil someone else's expectations. It is a good option for you if you are in good physical health and have a positive outlook together with realistic goals for improving your appearance.

There is no single "right" age for a breast lift. Ultimately the timing depends on when the patient is psychologically and aesthetically ready for the procedure and has turned 18.
