Procedure
Midface Lift
This is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of ageing such as hollowing of the midface, wrinkles along the lower eyelids, under-eye bags, and folds running from the nose to the corner of the mouth. During this lift the middle third of the face is repositioned, lifted and sculpted, the cheekbones are refined, nasolabial folds are smoothed, and shadows and puffiness beneath the lower eyelids are largely eliminated. The procedure is often combined with lower eyelid surgery. This surgery can be combined with another type of aesthetic surgery.

How much does the procedure cost
The price depends on
- The surgical technique suited to your anatomy
- The extent and complexity of the intervention
- The type of anaesthesia and the length of surgery
- The required hospital stay and follow-up check-ups
The final price is set in person during the consultation, after an examination and measurements — you then receive a written quote and a detailed plan. The clinic does not work with National Health Insurance Fund referrals.

A midface lift cannot fundamentally change your appearance, and it cannot stop the descent of soft tissue in the midface area — but it can certainly slow it significantly, sculpting, balancing and harmonising the cheekbone and lower eyelid area.
A midface lift can only be performed surgically, and non-surgical rejuvenation methods do not achieve the same result — they can only delay the time when surgery becomes necessary. It is a highly individual procedure — you should choose it for yourself, not to fulfil someone else's expectations. It is a good option for you if you are in good physical health and have a positive outlook together with realistic goals for improving your appearance.
There is no single "right" age for a midface lift. When performed at a younger age the results tend to last longer, because tissue elasticity is greater. Ultimately the timing depends on when the patient is psychologically and aesthetically ready for the procedure. The right moment is highly individual and is determined by the first signs of ageing that cannot be treated successfully with minimally invasive procedures (wrinkle smoothing, fillers, mesotherapy, etc.). The results are longer-lasting in patients around 35–40 years of age, but the surgery can also be performed around age 65 or even 70.
