Mommy Makeover
What is a Mommy Makeover?
Pregnancy and breastfeeding permanently change the abdomen, the breasts and the overall silhouette — changes that diet and exercise often cannot correct on their own. A "Mommy Makeover" is an individually tailored combination of procedures, planned together with Dr. Komitski once you have fully recovered from pregnancy, that addresses the most common concerns in one plan: loose skin and separated abdominal muscles, changes in breast volume and shape, localised fat deposits, and loss of buttock volume.
The most frequently combined procedures are abdominoplasty, a breast lift and/or breast augmentation, liposuction, and a Brazilian buttock lift — each of these can be discussed and performed on its own, or as part of an overall surgical plan tailored to your health and expectations.
Changes to the Abdomen
Changes to the Abdomen
Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) removes excess skin and subcutaneous fat from the lower abdomen and repairs the separated abdominal muscles — the most common consequence of pregnancy. The scar is hidden within the underwear line.

Changes to the Breasts
Breastfeeding often changes breast volume and firmness. Depending on the case, a breast lift (mastopexy) is recommended to restore shape, augmentation with implants to replace lost volume, or a combination of the two.
Fat Deposits
Fat Deposits
Localised fat deposits on the abdomen, waist and thighs that resist diet and exercise are corrected with liposuction — precise silhouette shaping, usually combined with the other procedures in the plan.

Changes to the Buttocks
A buttock lift (Brazilian lift) removes excess skin and subcutaneous tissue in the hip, thigh and buttock area, and if needed can be combined with volume augmentation.
