Nasal Tip Correction

Procedure

Nasal Tip Correction

Correction of the nasal tip is a surgical procedure that achieves a more harmonious shape and normalises its size. This is achieved by narrowing or widening the cartilage, reducing or enlarging the nostrils, decreasing or increasing tip projection, and adjusting the angle between the nose and the upper lip. The operation can be combined with procedures on the nasal septum — septoplasty — aimed at repositioning it along the midline. The incisions used for rhinoplasty are either hidden inside the nostrils (closed rhinoplasty) or placed on the inconspicuous underside of the soft tissue of the septum (open rhinoplasty). Sometimes cartilage and/or an implant made of an inert, biocompatible material is needed to achieve the desired result.

Price

How much does the procedure cost

The price depends on

  • The surgical technique suited to your anatomy
  • The extent and complexity of the intervention
  • The type of anaesthesia and the length of surgery
  • The required hospital stay and follow-up check-ups

The final price is set in person during the consultation, after an examination and measurements — you then receive a written quote and a detailed plan. The clinic does not work with National Health Insurance Fund referrals.

In most cases this intervention changes your appearance to some degree. As a stand-alone procedure, however, it does not significantly alter the overall proportions of your face.

This procedure can only be performed surgically, and is recommended once non-surgical methods for reshaping the nose have been exhausted. It is a highly individual procedure — you should choose it for yourself, not to fulfil someone else's expectations. It is a good option for you if you are in good physical health and have a positive outlook together with realistic goals for improving your appearance.

Correction of the nasal tip can be performed once the nose has fully formed anatomically, which is typically around 16–17 years of age.
