Plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeryDr. Stefan Komitski graduated in medicine from the Medical University of Plovdiv in 2001. He is a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and in General Surgery. He trained in general surgery at the Military Medical Academy (MMA) in Sofia and MMA Plovdiv. He completed his residency in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at the Clinic of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Alexandrovska University Hospital, Sofia. In 2019 he defended his doctoral thesis and became a Doctor of Medical Science.
Dr. Komitski regards plastic surgery as an exceptionally serious discipline. It encompasses reconstructive surgery, aesthetic surgery, hand surgery and burns treatment, making it one of the most technically diverse surgical specialties. Its scope covers the entire human body.
