Calf Augmentation with Implants

Procedure

Calf Augmentation with Implants

Calf augmentation is a surgical procedure in which silicone implants are placed beneath the fascia of the posterior calf muscles, producing a more harmonious calf shape, improving the contour of the leg and increasing its volume. The incisions are usually horizontal, placed within the natural creases of the popliteal fossa (behind the knee).

Price

How much does the procedure cost

The price depends on

  • The surgical technique suited to your anatomy
  • The extent and complexity of the intervention
  • The type of anaesthesia and the length of surgery
  • The required hospital stay and follow-up check-ups

The final price is set in person during the consultation, after an examination and measurements — you then receive a written quote and a detailed plan. The clinic does not work with National Health Insurance Fund referrals.

Frequently asked questions

Calf augmentation is a surgical procedure in which silicone implants are placed beneath the fascia of the posterior calf muscles, producing a more harmonious calf shape, improving the contour of the leg and increasing its volume. The incisions are usually horizontal, placed within the natural creases of the popliteal fossa (behind the knee).

This surgery can be combined with another type of aesthetic surgery.

As a stand-alone procedure, calf augmentation cannot in some cases correct the overall contour of the legs, and may need to be combined with liposuction or liposculpture.

Calf augmentation can only be performed surgically. It is a highly individual procedure — you should choose it for yourself, not to fulfil someone else's expectations. It is a good option for you if you are in good physical health and have a positive outlook together with realistic goals for improving your appearance.

There is no single "right" age for calf augmentation. Ultimately the timing depends on when the patient is psychologically and aesthetically ready for the procedure and has turned 18.
