- ECG and a cardiologist's consultation
- Complete blood count; ESR
- Bleeding and clotting time; INR
- Blood glucose; Urea; Creatinine
- Electrolytes — potassium and sodium
- General urine test
- AST and ALT
- HIV; HBsAg; Wasserman
- Blood type and Rh factor
